For more than 11 years in the dental industry, Matt Scherer has assisted practicing dentists, dental schools, suppliers and others throughout the US. As an active member of American Dental Sales (ADS), he has experience with practice transitions, startups, partnerships and refinances and consolidations.
Matt brings a vast experience in management from serving in various management roles with a large bank. He gained intimate knowledge of the specific financial considerations dentists must take into account. From his banking experience, he has been involved in over 550 dental transactions totaling in excess of $226 million.
Joe Gordon, CPA
Senior Transitions Consultant
Joe has more than 35 years of experience working with various medical professionals in a myriad of disciplines. Throughout his career, Joe has represented hundreds of both the buyers and sellers in practice transitions.
Concentrating on advising sellers and their advisers, Joe also has experience working with complex multi-companies. He is committed to helping clients throughout the entire merger and acquisition process.
A graduate of the University of Evansville, Joe is a member of American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He also is part of the Medical Group Management Association and Indiana Dental Society. Joe has served as the president and treasurer of the Catholic Social Service for the last six years.
Doug Sellan began his commercial banking career in 1987 and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
He has assisted thousands of dentists, veterinarians, optometrists and physicians with practice transitions, startups, commercial real estate, construction projects and refinancing and consolidations.
Doug has spoken at numerous Local, State and National Conferences and Societies throughout the US. He has presented at countless Universities, Alumni Associations and Local and National Sales and Service Organizations.
Doug provides an immense amount of experience in management and business development from serving in numerous management and leadership positions. He was part of a group of individuals that founded one of the industry’s largest healthcare lending groups.
Adam has a background in commercial real estate, dental practice management, marketing, and website development. He is bringing more than 10 years of experience to the PMA team.
In addition to assisting dental owners sell their practices, he also is a business and operation manager for four dental offices in the Indianapolis area and the founder of a website development and online marketing consulting company.
A graduate of Indiana University, Adam obtained a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and business.
For more than 10 years Rebecca has been working in the marketing world. At PMA she assists the team with getting their name known in Ohio, Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Western Pennsylvania. She manages the website, manages the marketing strategies, and so much more.
A graduate of Walsh University with a degree in marketing, Rebecca has been with PMA since June 2016.
Steve Jordan, CVA
With more than 40 years in the dental industry, Steve Jordan specializes with commercial loan origination, dental practice transitions, general business brokerage and business valuations and buyer representation. For over 20 years, Steve has provided brokerage services throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
Steve is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and has attained the CVA designation as a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is also a member of several other business and professional organizations including Practice Valuation Study Group and ADS, Inc. He frequently lectures at dental schools on practice transition matters.
